Filling with hyaluronic acid is a treatment that restores the youthful appearance of the skin without the use of a scalpel. Products used: whole range of Restylane, Princess Volume and Teosyal products.
How does it work?
Hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin using a very thin needle. Before the treatment, the skin is anesthetised with Emla cream, which significantly reduces the ailments connected with administration of the preparation. Hyaluronic acid is injected slowly, deep into the skin, using a method chosen by the doctor (e.g. thin lines). The injection depth depends on the preparation used and the location.
Hyaluronic acid occurs in the form of a dense gel, which properly administered corrects aesthetic defects: reduces wrinkles, reduces folds, corrects facial contours. In addition, it perfectly moisturises, tightens and elasticises the skin.
The effect of the treatment is immediately visible, but the best effect is obtained after about 3-5 days after the treatment, this condition lasts from several to a dozen months.
The amount of injected product depends on the severity of the problem. It is recommended not to exceed 4 ml per session (usually 4 ampoules).
In order to achieve optimal skin condition improvement, one treatment is usually required. However, if the wrinkles are deeper, the tissue losses are larger, sometimes a supplementary treatment is necessary after a few weeks.
Please note that hyaluronic acid breaks down biologically and is slowly absorbed.
Stabilised hyaluronic acid persists in the skin from several to a dozen months depending on the type of preparation, the degree of crosslinking and the area of administration.
